In my current position, I am responsible for performing the following duties and responsibilities: 1. Organizing and preparing the buffet and cafeteria for each service. 2. Placing orders for necessary supplies on a daily basis. 3. Ordering the appropriate food portions based on the menu requirements for regular guests, special events, and parties. 4. Maintaining effective communication with the kitchen to ensure the timely receipt of food and supplies. 5. Ensuring a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with food safety guidelines, preventing any cross-contamination between raw and prepared food products. 6. Recording and monitoring the temperatures of food, storage areas, and service areas to comply with established regulatory guidelines. 7. Verifying the proper functioning of equipment such as hot cabinets, bain maries, refrigerators, and freezers by regularly collecting temperature readings. 8. Resolving customer complaints promptly and effectively, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction with regard to food and service.
