Job Description

The Iconic Hilton San Francisco Union Square is looking for its next Senior Housekeeping Manager to join the Housekeeping Team.

The largest property in the Bay Area has 1921 rooms, over 150,000 square feet of meeting space with 44 meeting rooms is conveniently located near MUNI and BART.  Be part of a team that was ranked #1 on Great Places to Work and on Fortune’s World’s Best Workplaces list! 

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in housekeeping management, with a preference for those with union experience. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, meticulous attention to detail, robust organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication skills, and the ability to uphold high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. 

Salary Range:  $80,000 to $90,000


What will I be doing?


As a Senior Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Manage daily Housekeeping operations to include, but not limited to, maintaining cleanliness, service and product quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Manage daily systems use and management, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
Oversee and conduct room inspections
Recruit, interview and train team members
