Cluster Sales Coordinator - MICE (Conrad Centennial Singapore & Conrad Singapore Orchard)

Overview of Role

A Cluster Sales Coordinator - MICE with Conrad Hotels and Resorts will assist and contribute to maximizing revenue by providing administrative and sales support in driving the sale of conference facility space and guest rooms of the designated industry.

What will I be doing?

As Sales Coordinator (MICE), you are responsible for working closely with the Cluster Director of Sales/Sales Manager to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Support the Cluster Director of Sales, MICE & Managers in managing accounts, processing of sales leads and appropriate response to sales enquiries within the frame work of standard operating procedures.
Assist to handle enquiries
Responsible for initiating the preparation of proposals; contracts, opening files and pro-forma invoices.
Maximize all Conference & Events revenue opportunities
Ensure telephone coverage in the office at all times and assist any incoming calls from internal and external guests with their requests promptly.Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries using Delphi FDC
Ensure proper show rooms ready for site inspections
Prepare monthly reports to respective recipients
Telemarketing calls to customers and prospective customers to solicit business, engage sales activities
Attends weekly sales departmental meeting and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, such as group pick up meeting, weekly operations meeting, and weekly sales meeting
Keep work area clean and organized
Assists with special projects assigned by management.
Work effectively to build relationships with colleagues in the hotel operations department
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management.

-      Previous experience in a sales role

-      Relevant degree, in a sales or business discipline, from an academic institution
