GENERAL:

The position manages all administrative functions of our Engineering Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out daily administrative activities of the Engineering office

·       Manage issue and return of Department’s master keys

Provide general clerical support to the Engineering team
Ensure all communications are handled promptly and professionally
Receive and distribute mail, quotes, reports and related documents to relevant staff
Minute Engineering Team Meetings, compile reports
Monitor and maintain supplies of office stationary and consumables
Maintain the Department’s filing systems  drawing, specifications and correspondence
Maintain register of all work requests using a job card process to allocate work
Arrange for purchase orders, invoices, payment requests and related admin
Manage Chief Engineer’s diary as required
Attend training and meetings when required

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

·       Flexible and reliable

·       High attention to detail

·       Methodical and well organized

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications

•        Hotel experience

•        Familiar with Property Management Systems

•        Experience in a similar position
