What will I be doing?

As a Director, Platform Architecture & Solutions Delivery - India, you will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and implementing solutions to support our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assess existing systems and technologies, and develop scalable and sustainable digital architectures

Planning, Architecture and Solutions Delivery

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, requirements, and constraints.
Develop comprehensive platform architecture plans that align with business objectives and future scalability needs.
Lead the implementation of digital solutions, working closely with development teams and external partners/vendors.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to ensure adherence to architectural principles and standards.

Technology Evaluation and Innovation

Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools to support digital technology initiatives.
Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and proposing innovative solutions to business challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve digital architecture capabilities.

Solution Design and Development

Partner with our global and regional solutions architecture teams to lead the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
Design end-to-end digital solutions, including application architecture, data architecture, integration architecture, and infrastructure architecture that integrates with Hilton core systems to enable frictionless hotel processes.
Facilitate delivery of digital capabilities that enable customer bookings, member enrolments and guest engagement.
Benchmark and define architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across projects.

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Foster collaboration and alignment between product stakeholders, development teams, and other cross-functional groups.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on digital architecture strategies and initiatives.

Governance and Compliance

Partner with the enterprise solutions architecture team to establish and enforce IT architecture governance processes, standards, and policies to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across IT initiatives.
Work with global and regional cybersecurity team in ensuring proposed solutions meet cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of IT architecture solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Project Management and Delivery Oversight

Provide oversight and guidance on solution architecture aspects of project delivery, ensuring that technical solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and drive successful project outcomes.

What are we looking for?

A Director, Platform Architecture & Solutions Delivery - India serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

15 years of professional work experience in technology or a related field
5 years of experience in technology architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide technology solutions
Deep understanding of platform architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Project management experience and proficiency in project management methodologies
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) desirable
Around 20 to 30% of travelling
