Start Date: July 2024
Duration: 12 Months Location: Dubai Area Office We are looking for a high-calibre local graduate (graduated with a Technology related field Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in the last 12 months) to join our IT team on a 12-month placement. From day one, our interns are fully integrated into Team Hilton and are involved in different aspects of the business. Our placements offer vast exposure and opportunities, such as the opportunity to network with senior executives, and for some, international travel and involvement in regional conferences. Based in our Dubai Area Office, you will also benefit from an open space office, located in Internet City, close to the Dubai Marina and The Palm Jumeirah and other interesting locations in Dubai. We have approximately 210 team members based in the Dubai office, we are a social and fun bunch of people driving the business for the MEA region from here. The Opportunity As an intern, you will be an integral part of the team and will play an active role in continued success. You will be supported by the Technology Regional team to offer their knowledge and experience related to hotels technologies, and to help bridge any skill gaps. You will carry out a range of administrative and supportive activities, as well as having ownership of their own project-based initiatives. As the Hilton Technology Services intern, your activities will include: Joining Regional Technology meetings involving various functions of the business. Learn hotels Technology opening project management skills and support in one complete opening during the internship period. Supporting collaboration and communication among the EMEA Tech team and administrating the department SharePoint site. Helping to creating executive presentations for regional meetings, regional stakeholders, and on-going projects. Using online tools to collect and extract data from hotels Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data. Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify areas of risk and opportunities. Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Why choose us? As with any job, we do have certain criteria that you will need to meet to be considered for one of these highly sought-after opportunities. These are detailed as follows; • First and foremost, Hilton is a hospitality company, and we are looking for individuals with a strong sense of alignment to our culture and values. • You must have graduated with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technology related field in the last 12 months. • You must be able to undertake a full-time (40 hours per week) 12-month graduate internship, from July 2024. • We are looking for a candidate who is local to the UAE and will not require a visa to work full-time in Dubai. • Excellent time management, organisational, coordination and communication (verbal and written) skills. • Team working skills and problem-solving skills along with accuracy and attention to detail. • You must have Microsoft Office skills i.e Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources to achieve outstanding results. • Advanced people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders. • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations.
