Tencent Cloud – Cloud Migration Engineer (Thailand)

Tencent Cloud is expanding its engineering presence in Southeast Asia and is looking for skilled and customer-oriented Cloud Migration Engineers to join our team in Thailand. In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to plan, execute, and support cloud migration projects. You will be responsible for designing solutions, guiding technical delivery, and ensuring successful transitions to Tencent Cloud and other major public cloud platforms. Responsibilities:
Assist in designing cloud migration architectures involving compute (VM/Kubernetes), storage (object/file), databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and landing zone setup.
Work directly with customer migration teams to provide technical support and drive the migration process end-to-end.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and deliver feedback to internal teams to improve services.
Participate in full project delivery lifecycle including PoC, implementation, testing, and cutover phases.
Ensure timely completion of tasks according to project milestones and delivery commitments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or Tencent Cloud), preferably in migration delivery.
Familiarity with core cloud products such as Kubernetes, Kafka, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and object storage (S3, Blob, GCS).
Working knowledge of cloud migration tools such as AWS DMS/DataSync, GCP Transfer Service, or Azure DMS.
Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java preferred).
Strong documentation skills to produce technical migration deliverables in English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Thai, essential for customer interaction and cross-regional collaboration.
Strong teamwork and coordination skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.
